Music and poetry transcend lifetimes.
Blended Generations is a collaboration project featuring music composition and arrangement of Ola Milena, and beautifully crafted lyrics by Roger Price. Following retirement from business and soon approaching his 4th life quarter, Roger Price was moved to write a series of poetic lyrics reflecting optimistic view of Life. He searched for a musical partner to work on the songs with and approached a local music school, where Ola was working. The duo soon set off to work creating a stunning 6 track EP and recorded it live to a classic tape machine at Melbourne’s leading recording studio Headgap. Ola and Roger are now working on their second release.
The name Blended Generations reflects on Ola and Roger’s differences in age, culture and experience and how such contrasts can be weaved together into a promising partnership with understanding, acceptance, deep listening and learning from one another.
